German Bilingual Education

Children will learn another language playfully and easily if they get exposed to quality linguistic input on a regular basis. Linguistics professors Kendall King and Alison Mackey (Georgetown University) say in their book The Bilingual Edge: Why, When, and How to Teach Your Child a Second Language, it takes about two hours per day of immersion to create the right environment for a child to be truly bilingual. According to their work, raising bilingual or multilingual children is easy, as long as the children are exposed to the target language often enough.
